Theory of elasticity (and thermoelasticity) is widely used for studying mechanical behavior of materials for years. In this book, we study analytic methods for solution of advanced problems for modern functionally graded materials experiencing complex variation of their elastic moduli by depth. All problems considered in this book are axially symmetric. Obtained solutions can be used for studying qualitative features of mechanical behavior of new materials , and for precise calculations with controlled accuracy. Book also contain example of usage of these methods for solving inverse problems (characterization of coating material).
