QUORUM Q150T ES PLUS
The Q150T system is a versatile spray or turbo evaporator coater for preparing samples for electron microscopy.
With a comprehensive range of easily replaceable inserts and specimen setters, the Q150T can be used for the following:
- Spraying coatings using materials such as chrome, carbon, platinum or gold.
- Films as a base for evaporation and replication of samples for Transmission Electron Mocroscopy (TEM) and X-ray analysis, and conductive coatings for Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) using 6 mm or 3 mm carbon rods or wires …
- Evaporation of metals up or down from a wire basket or molybdenum boat fixture.
- Cleaning the aperture strips.
The device is equipped with a sensor for the thickness of the sprayed film, which allows the deposition of a coating of a given thickness – from 2 nm to 2 μm
